Pictured here is Ohio Department of Transportation District 10 through a joint venture research project with Ohio University and the Federal Highway Department is seen putting to work their new Bagela BA 10000 Asphalt recycler. The important part of this machine can produce over 10 TPH of 100% Rap for permanent pothole and road maintenance work when the asphalt plants are closed. They utilize RAP from contracted projects and their two Wirtgen W150Cfi milling machines. Temperatures can be well over 300 degrees which is then placed into hotboxes to fill and repair all day long.
